Requests for Special Education records should be submitted to studentrecords@adams50.org, faxed to 303-487-2859 or mailed to ACSD 50 Special Education Records, 3455 W. 72nd Ave. South Annex, Westminster, Co 80030.
All requests, including those from social services and education verifications, must be submitted on letterhead or an official request form. Former students or parents must include a copy of an official picture ID or driver's license with any request.
If you want to request your records in person visit the New Westminster High School at 6933 Raleigh St. we are on the 2nd floor. An official picture ID or driver's license will be required.
Normal turnaround time for requests is 3 to 5 business days; however the district is undergoing a data conversion which may cause delays in accessing records from or before 2002.
Each year we update our Student Code of Conduct as necessary and distribute it to all students and their families. Please read this handbook carefully as it was written to help parents and students understand the rules of our district and what happens if they are broken. Included in this handbook is information on basic student and parent rights, student discipline, access to student records, and our suspension and expulsion procedures. Therefore, we strongly suggest parents take a moment with your child to review the contents of this handbook.
In addition to this publication, each school in District 50 also has their own handbook of rules that establish individuals school's expectations. The two documents together establish district-wide rights and responsibilities.
