I am honored and excited to be the new principal of FM Day Elementary School. I believe there is nothing more important than a quality education for every child and my goal is to ensure that all students who graduate from F.M. Day are ready for middle school and have the necessary life skills to be successful. I am excited to get to know the staff, parents and students at F.M. Day. I value the school’s rich history and will seek parent input when making decisions about our school and students. I began working in District 50 in 2003 and have had the honor of being a teacher, instructional coach and assistant principal.
I hope you will reach out to me over the next couple of months and share your thoughts and questions about F.M. Day.
Enjoy your summer break and I look forward to meeting you in August as we begin the 2014/15 school year.
Thank you,Jennifer Rizzo
